Get your connection key

Inside PolicyPing, go to Settings → Integrations and click "Generate API Key". Copy it — you'll only see it once.

Connect your AI assistant

Choose your AI tool below and follow the steps.

Install Claude Desktop or Claude Code

Download the Claude desktop app from claude.ai if you haven't already. You'll need a Claude account (free or paid).

Get your PolicyPing key

Go to policyping.net → Settings → Integrations and click Generate API Key. Copy the key that appears.

Open your terminal and run this command

Open Terminal (Mac) or Command Prompt (Windows), paste this command, and replace YOUR_KEY_HERE with the key you copied:

--header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY_HERE"
Not sure how to open Terminal? On Windows: press the Windows key, type "cmd", press Enter. On Mac: press Cmd+Space, type "terminal", press Enter.

You're done! Try asking Claude something

Open Claude and type: "What policies do I have expiring in the next 30 days?" — Claude will check your PolicyPing account and reply.

Open ChatGPT desktop app

Download the ChatGPT desktop app from openai.com/chatgpt/desktop. The web version does not support this feature yet.

Get your PolicyPing key

Go to policyping.net → Settings → Integrations and click Generate API Key. Copy the key.

Add PolicyPing as a connection

In the ChatGPT desktop app, go to Settings → Connections → Add MCP Server and enter these details:

Type: "Show me my renewal summary for this week" and ChatGPT will pull the data from your PolicyPing account.
